About the FEI
The Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) is the global governing body for equestrian sport, overseeing seven disciplines and coordinating international events, development programmes, media, and commercial activities. Based in Lausanne, the FEI drives innovation and growth in the sport while ensuring the highest standards of welfare, integrity, and global visibility.
To cover a maternity leave, the FEI is recruiting a Content Manager within the Commercial, Marketing & Communications Department. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to major international projects — including Olympic coverage — at the heart of a dynamic and globally recognised sports federation.
Purpose of the Role
The Content Manager will support the Head of Content and Channel Management, overseeing the creation, coordination, and delivery of high-impact, brand-aligned content across all FEI platforms. The goal: enhance audience engagement, elevate FEI storytelling, and support strategic organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop content strategies grounded in a deep understanding of equestrian sports, fully aligned with FEI priorities.
– Identify key communication opportunities around FEI events, projects, and campaigns; coordinate messaging across departments.
– Lead the execution, publishing and scheduling of content across all channels, strengthening FEI’s presence on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X.
– Coordinate with partners for collaborative activations, joint storytelling, and co-posting opportunities.
– Oversee FEI.org’s editorial direction, ensuring accuracy, quality and strategic alignment.
– Collaborate closely with the FEI Media House, guiding internal leads and external production teams/freelancers.
– Manage the editorial direction of the FEI broadcast magazine and support media rights teams to maximise exposure.
– Create compelling marketing, sports and lifestyle content to support events and campaigns.
– Lead planning and delivery of FEI’s Olympics content coverage.
– Drive innovation in branded content in close collaboration with the Campaign Manager, adding measurable value for commercial partners.
Profile & Requirements
– Equestrian expertise: strong knowledge and experience in at least one FEI discipline.
– Management experience: proven ability to lead content teams, production companies, and freelancers.
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Television, Arts, Journalism, English, or equivalent.
– Digital proficiency: strong command of digital and social media environments.
– Language skills: Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

– Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
– Creative, organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
