The Role
They are seeking an experienced Senior Global Medical Advisor to join the Global Medical Affairs team. In this role, you will serve as a scientific expert within the organisation, helping to translate clinical data into meaningful medical insights while supporting the global medical strategy.
You will work cross-functionally with teams including Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs and Drug Safety, ensuring scientific accuracy and supporting the safe and effective use of the company’s products worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Project management of non-interventional studies (NIS) and investigator-initiated studies (IIS)
Oversee the publication process for clinical studies
Conduct scientific literature reviews on company products, competitor products and relevant therapeutic indications
Support regulatory submissions through literature reviews and product analyses
Disseminate relevant medical and scientific insights to internal stakeholders
Respond to internal scientific queries and external medical enquiries
Maintain and expand the global medical information database
Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in collaboration with international business units and local affiliates
Attend major international congresses and act as a Medical Affairs representative
Review and contribute to scientific and regulatory documentation in collaboration with Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research and Drug Safety
Review and approve promotional and marketing materials in collaboration with business teams
Act as a medical interface across internal departments
Support internal training on therapeutic areas and medical background when required
Candidate Profile
Advanced academic degree in a medical or scientific discipline (MD or PhD preferred)
5+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical services industry
Experience within specialty pharmaceuticals or biologics is advantageous
Strong experience in scientific writing, literature research and data interpretation
Proven ability to interact with KOLs, regulatory stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Fluency in English (C1 level) ; additional languages are beneficial
Good IT and database skills
Willingness to travel internationally
