Context of the position:

As an Account Manager at Nextlane, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while actively expanding our market presence in the DACH region. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing key accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction, with a strong focus on B2B SaaS and IT solutions for the automotive industry.

This role requires a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and a results-driven approach to ensure business growth while delivering value to our customers.


Sales & Account Management

* Develop and execute a sales plan to expand business within the DACH region.
* Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals and ensuring contract execution.
* Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase revenue from existing accounts.
* Follow up on prospects, quotes, and deals to ensure a structured pipeline.
* Regularly analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.


Customer Relationship Management

* Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
* Maintain strong relationships with general agents, dealer associations, and key decision-makers.
* Organize and conduct customer meetings, product demos, and presentations.
* Ensure that customers receive seamless onboarding and ongoing support for Nextlane solutions.
* Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to align on strategies and customer engagement.
* Ensure accurate CRM data management by updating Salesforce with key account activities.
* Represent Nextlane at industry events, brand meetings, and OEM collaborations.
* Support the implementation of customer projects, coordinating internally with delivery teams when required.


Experience:

* 5-7 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in product sales, SaaS, or IT-related industries. Knowledge of automotive retail, DMS, CRM, or digital solutions is a plus.


Languages:

* Fluent in German and French with solid English skills. Italian is a bonus.


Skills:

* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, combined with a customer-focused, business development mindset. Ability to manage multiple accounts, collaborate cross-functionally, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Travel:

* Willingness to travel regularly for field meetings, customer visits, and industry events.
