ICT Application Manager
We are mandated by our client, an energy and infrastructure solutions company in Zug, to recruit an ICT Application Manager. It's a permanent position. The role supports a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of ICT applications (on‑premise & cloud) – SaaS experience is a plus – to ensure reliable, high‑performance operations. Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate with technical experts for seamless maintenance. Analyze software processes, perform database queries (Oracle PL/SQL) and resolve application‑level issues through root‑cause analysis and smart solutions. Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to optimize performance and maintain end‑to‑end reliability. Drive software updates, migrations and continuous improvement initiatives that elevate the customer experience and service quality.
Qualifications
Strong experience in application management, technical customer support or system integration. Proficient with database (SQL) and Windows Server skills; scripting (PowerShell/Python) is an advantage. Fluency in German and English; an organized, solution‑oriented mindset with comfort in handling complex customer‑facing situations.
