Account Manager - Mid Market
Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and new clients, demonstrating how our Mid Market solutions benefit them.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a client portfolio within the Mid Market segment, working closely with sales and marketing teams.
* Support clients with Mid Market contracts, fostering long-term, profitable relationships.
* Develop business within an existing B2B customer portfolio, directly or via broker networks.
* Engage in up-selling and cross-selling activities.
* Manage policy renewals, including planning, initiating, and negotiating with clients or brokers.
* Ensure compliance with KYC, KYI, UBO, and other requirements in collaboration with back office and shared service centers abroad.
* Monitor and report on customer consumption.
* Conduct regular visits to customers and brokers.
* Gather market intelligence actively.
* Participate in external events.
* Handle client reporting, annual account planning, and client feedback meetings.
Candidate Profile:
Education:
* Higher education degree (business school or university).
* Proficiency with IT tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint.
Experience:
* At least 5 years of proven account management experience in financial services sales.
* Fluent in German and English; additional languages like French or Italian are advantageous.
* Detail-oriented, precise, supportive, and client-focused.
* Capable of delivering high-quality services under tight deadlines, approaching problems independently, flexibly, systematically, and proactively.
* Result-driven and self-motivated.
* Creative, innovative, and passionate about driving sales with a proactive approach.
* Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
