In Switzerland, we work with 300 experts who support our customers on their various projects in the French- and German-speaking parts. We help our customers to diversify and to grow through the work of our consultants and the technical expertise of our Solution & Project Delivery Department.
To strengthen our team in the German part of Switzerland, we are looking for a Project Engineer, freeze dryer expert (M/F/X).
ABOUT THE JOB
* You will oversee package management, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure project success from defining User Requirements Specifications (URS) to Installation and Operational Qualifications (IQ/OQ).
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define URS and ensure the alignment of project goals.
* Oversee the entire lifecycle of the lyophilizer installation, from specification to delivery and qualification.
* Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Conduct regular project reviews and ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations.
* Monitor project schedules, identify risks, and drive corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
* Support the commissioning and qualification phases, with a focus on delivering a fully operational and compliant system.
* Provide thorough documentation and reporting aligned with GMP standards.
ABOUT YOU
* A degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (Mechanical, Chemical, Process Engineering preferred).
* At least 5 years of experience managing CapEx or technical projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
* Familiarity with lyophilization processes and associated equipment is a significant advantage.
* Strong experience managing subcontractors and cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of GMP guidelines, project qualification, and validation processes (URS, IQ, OQ).
* Ability to work autonomously while maintaining excellent collaboration with stakeholders.
* Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong asset.
