Join us as a Senior Test Hardware Designer in our Production Test Systems and Test Hardware Team, where your expertise will directly shape our Test Solutions for both GNSS module production and development testing. Your contribution in test systems design will encompass both mechanical and electrical areas. As a team member, you will learn about our products, familiarize yourself with existing test systems, master their maintenance, and propose cost-effective solutions based on your findings. This role offers excellent exposure not only within a team of motivated test SW and HW designers but also to other development teams and external suppliers.

Your Responsibilities Contribute to maintenance and improvements of existing module production test systems with contract manufacturers and internal teams.
Study new product test requirements, define test hardware, and provide mechanical and electrical solutions (schematic and layout).
Manage prototype ordering processes with Technical Assistants, including mechanical parts and assembly if necessary.
Validate, characterize, and document test hardware, providing technical expertise and training to Test SW Engineers and other teams.
Focus on cost-optimized solutions.
Your Skills and Experience Preferably M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar, with previous apprenticeship in Mechatronics, Automation, or Electronics.
5+ years of experience in a hardware designer role, preferably in test and RF domains.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
Proficiency in Altium or Cadence PCB design tools.
Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical assembly of prototypes.
Experience in hardware validation, bring-up, repairs, characterization, and transition to production.
Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
Fluent in English; knowledge of other European or APAC languages is a plus.
Bonus Skills Programming skills in C, C++, LabView, Test Stand, or Python.
Knowledge of GNSS technology.
Experience in the semiconductor industry.
