Combustion Engine Expert
As a Combustion Engine Expert, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing high-complexity components. You will also perform 3D drafting of components and assemblies using CAD systems, create and revise 2D drawings with GD&T, generate 2D and 3D visualizations for clarifying technical content, and ensure reporting to top management on specific technical topics.
You will cooperate with component suppliers to clarify technical properties and engage in common component development (co-design). Additionally, you will actively contribute to FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and coordinate other design resources while ensuring the quality of deliverables.
Responsibilities:
* Design and Optimization: Define the architecture of new engine projects, monitor engine trends, solve complex technical issues by coordinating design, simulation, and testing.
* Component Development: Design and optimize high-complexity components, perform 3D drafting, create and revise 2D drawings with GD&T.
* Visualization and Reporting: Generate 2D and 3D visualizations, ensure reporting to top management on specific technical topics.
* Collaboration and Coordination: Cooperate with component suppliers, engage in co-design, contribute to FMEA, coordinate other design resources.
Requirements:
* Education: Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering.
* Experience: At least 10 years of experience in design in a combustion engine related field.
* Languages: Proficient in English, knowledge of French is an asset.
* Skills: Advanced knowledge of MS Office, good knowledge of PTC Creo, ERP System, and PLM Albatros.
