In this role, you will contribute to cutting-edge research on bleeding disorders like Hemophilia and Von Willebrand Disease, working hands-on with in vitro and ex vivo models to assess novel therapeutic strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and refine novel in vitro platforms, including microphysiological systems and “organ-on-a-chip” technologies, to investigate new therapeutic targets for bleeding disordersUtilize advanced imaging tools such as confocal microscopy for detailed analysis of test systems using patient-derived blood or plasmaDesign, perform, and interpret experimental studies on therapy safety, efficacy, and mode of actionClearly present research findings in team meetings and contribute to collaborative scientific discussionContinuously enhance experimental workflows, including assay development, automation, data processing, and digital captureSupport daily lab routines, contribute to team duties, and foster a collaborative and organized lab environment Ideal ProfileMSc or BSc in Life Sciences (e.g. cell biology, immunology, pharmacology), or equivalent apprenticeship as a research associate, with 3+ years of relevant experienceSolid hands-on experience in confocal imaging, live cell imaging, and working with microfluidic systemsSkilled in conducting and interpreting in vitro assays (e.g. ELISA, biochemical assays)Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with a team-oriented mindset and strong communication skillsExcellent skills in documentation, data management, and electronic record keeping Preferred QualificationsBackground knowledge of hemostasis and thrombosis models (in vitro or ex vivo)Familiarity with rare blood disorder researchDissatisfied, underchallenged, or eager to discover something new?What are you waiting for?
