A rapidly expanding Swiss fintech startup, transforming the way merchants, marketplaces, and lenders provide buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) and retail financing solutions, is seeking a Sales Manager to join its team.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifies and secures new business opportunities with merchants, partners, and marketplaces.
Develops and implements strategies to grow the B2B client portfolio.
Builds and nurtures trusted relationships with key decision-makers across the retail, e-commerce, and financial sectors.
Manages the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach through to contract negotiation and client onboarding.
Collaborates with internal teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Provides market insights to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
Represents the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Maintains up-to-date CRM records and manages a structured sales pipeline.
Requirements
Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within fintech, SaaS, payments, or related industries.
Fluency in French and Swiss German is required; strong proficiency in English is also essential.
In-depth understanding of the Swiss business landscape.
Demonstrated ability to manage extended, consultative sales cycles.
Exceptional communication skills and a client-centric approach.
Highly self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
Willingness to travel within Switzerland and across Europe as needed. ️
Nice to Have
Prior experience with buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) solutions or embedded finance.
An established network within the Swiss retail, payments, or financial sectors.
Experience working in an early-stage startup or a rapidly scaling company.
