Sales Manager DACH

We develop, manufacture and market the latest generation of adaptive optical elements for industrial and consumer markets. Optotune’s vision is to enable our customers to create innovative products by providing them with unique optical components. To strengthen our M&S team, we are looking for a Sales Manager to be responsible for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
Tasks
1. Strengthen the relationships with existing clients
2. Acquire new business in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland)
3. Provide feedback to product management
4. Manage and foster local sales partners
5. Support local marketing activities including several trade shows
Requirements
6. Must have technical background (MSc or equivalent)
7. At least 3-7 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in optics
8. Direct experience in the DACH is a must
9. Market knowledge in medical, microscopy, semiconductor, laser processing or vision applications
10. Ability to identify new customers, build up and maintain relationships
11. Ability to understand customers’ technical requirements and suggest solutions
12. Passion for sales and marketing, friendly personality, well organized, autonomous and team player
13. Excellent knowledge English and German, any other European language is advantageous
14. Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
15. SAP and Hubspot knowledge is a plus
