About the Role
An international school group in the Zurich area is seeking a Digital Marketing & Performance Manager to support student recruitment across its schools in Switzerland. This role is initially offered as a six‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension. Working as part of a central marketing team, you will be responsible for the performance of digital marketing channels, websites and campaign landing pages, with the goal of generating qualified admissions enquiries and strengthening the visibility of each school. The group currently includes three distinct school brands with different curricula, age ranges and target audiences. The role therefore requires the ability to combine a portfolio‑level view of digital marketing performance with a clear understanding of each school’s positioning, audience and recruitment priorities. The position will initially be on a remote basis, with the likelihood of becoming hybrid in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage Google Ads and Meta campaigns across the school portfolio
Develop tailored campaign structures aligned with each school’s positioning and recruitment goals
Define targeting strategies, audiences and campaign setups
Write and test ad copy in English and German
Monitor and optimise campaign performance and continuously optimise cost per enquiry & lead quality – the focus can be broader
Manage budgets and recommend adjustments based on performance insights
Use AI tools to support campaign planning, optimisation and audience development
Oversee website marketing performance and optimise landing pages and enquiry journeys
Analyse user behaviour to improve conversion rates and enquiry generation
Ensure websites support visibility across traditional and AI‑driven search environments
Identify and implement SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) opportunities
Improve organic visibility for key admissions‑related topics
Track campaign performance, maintain dashboards and generate actionable insights
Monitor media spend, support forecasting and contribute to budget planning
Coordinate campaign execution across teams and support key marketing initiatives (e.g. open days, enrolment campaigns)
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who already uses AI tools in a practical and thoughtful way to improve workflow efficiency, support analysis and strengthen marketing performance, and who understands how content visibility is evolving across both traditional search and AI‑generated discovery environments. You are an experienced digital marketer who combines analytical thinking with practical execution and enjoys improving marketing performance through structured analysis, testing and optimisation. You are comfortable working across several brands and adapting campaigns to different audiences.
