Your Role
To strengthen its team in Switzerland, VSL is looking for a Technical Director. You will play a key role in the design and technical management of complex civil and structural engineering projects, while leading a small team of engineers.
Your Main Responsibilities
* Development and design of structural concepts, including construction methods in civil and structural engineering for both new builds and strengthening projects
* Technical leadership and development of a small team of engineers
* Technical responsibility for the projects of VSL (Switzerland) AG
* Coordination with external engineering offices and planners
* Technical support for the sales team in the preparation and presentation of proposals
* Technical support for project management during execution
Profile Sought
* Degree in Civil Engineering (ETH / FH or equivalent)
* At least 7 years of professional experience in structural engineering and design
* Innovative mindset, analytical thinking, and solution-oriented approach
* Committed personality with strong teamwork skills
* Solid proficiency in MS Office, design software, and CAD tools
* Strong knowledge of relevant SIA standards
* Good command of French and English; German is an asset
