Our client is a Private Equity group based in Zug.
On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Group CFO and Group Controller on various topics, including cash flow management, financial reporting, planning and analysis, process automation, and project management. This role requires a detail-oriented finance professional with strong IT skills who can simplify complex processes and drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing investment proposals based on cash planning and liquidity needs, optimizing the allocation across various financial instruments (e.g., treasury bills, money markets, equities, ETFs).
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis, performance monitoring, and benchmarking, while identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.
Contribute to the enhancement of accounting, financial control, and financial planning systems, including risk management and internal control frameworks.
Support or lead projects related to IT system improvements, reporting enhancements, and banking integrations.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare and automate weekly liquidity reports.
Develop short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, integrating internal and external financial inputs.
Assist in standardizing financial best practices across the organization and providing necessary support to business units.
Handle highly sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial services.
Strong understanding of tax, accounting, and financial regulations within an investment environment.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
Proven expertise in financial planning, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance.
Advanced IT skills with experience in automation, data management, and API integrations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and Excel-based analysis.
Knowledge of Power BI is considered as a strong plus.
High level of professionalism and ability to manage confidential information.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Fluency in German and English a must.
Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
