Position Overview We are seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer with strong experience in production support, cloud platforms, and CI/CD engineering. This role is suited for professionals who are comfortable working in high-availability environments, handling incidents, and driving automation across the DevOps lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring stability, performance, and continuous delivery of business-critical platforms within enterprise and regulated environments. Key Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 production support for critical applications and platforms Manage incident, problem, and change processes in line with ITIL practices Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes Support application deployments, releases, and hotfix activities Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) Manage and support cloud environments (Microsoft Azure preferred) Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS) Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions Ensure system reliability, performance, and security compliance Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams Required Qualifications 10–13 years of experience in DevOps, Production Support, or Platform Engineering Strong hands-on experience in L2/L3 production support and incident management Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions Solid experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms Hands-on experience with Terraform or other IaC tools Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred) Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Geneos, Prometheus, or Grafana Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) Preferred / Nice to Have Experience in banking or regulated environments Exposure to DevSecOps practices Knowledge of data platforms or ETL tools Experience in observability and performance tuning Exposure to LLMOps / MLOps, including: Managing and deploying AI/LLM-based applications Working with model monitoring and AI pipelines Understanding AI infrastructure and lifecycle management Key Competencies Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work in high-pressure production environments Good communication and collaboration skills Proactive mindset with focus on automation and stability Why Join Swiss Himmel GmbH Work on modern cloud and DevOps technologies Exposure to enterprise-scale platforms and systems Collaborative and professional work environment Competitive Swiss compensation and benefits Opportunity to grow within a high-impact, technology-driven organization
