The Château de Bossey is home to the X and Marketing Château de Bossey is home to the Ecumenical Institute, which is the training centre of the World Council of Churches. It is also a hotel and one of the largest conference and banqueting centres in the region, open to the public, with its four buildings, 90 rooms, and 10 meeting rooms. X self-service is seeking a Sales & Marketing who will be responsible for promoting the Bossey brand and maximizing revenue through sales and marketing. This role combines both sales and marketing responsibilities – ideal for a professional who enjoys building, promoting, and delivering strong guest experiences.REPORTS TO: Bossey Hotel & Conference Centre ManagerSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESSales Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel agencies, tour, and event organisers.- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase room occupancy, banquets, and event bookings.- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, and contracts to potential clients.- Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, and client follow-ups.- Maintain a database of clients and prospects (CRM).- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.Marketing Responsibilities- Collaborate with the WCC department, ensuring a common strategy and positioning.- Work with graphic designers and agencies for Bossey promotional brochures and advertisements.- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the hotel's rooms, dining, and event services.- Manage the hotel’s social media and digital presence (Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc.).- Monitor online reviews and respond promptly and professionally to feedback (including follow-ups on reviews, comments with personalized responses, and managing instant damage controls).- Set up and monitor relevant activities in organizing hotel promotions, seasonal offers, and special events for guests.- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.Reporting- Prepare monthly sales and marketing reports for management including performance metrics (occupancy, revenue growth, and marketing ROI).- Ensure marketing activities align with Bossey’s brand image.AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS & Experience- Studies in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or related field.- 3-4 years of experience in hotel sales, marketing, or related roles (experience in small/medium-sized hotels preferred).Skills & Competencies- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Fluency in the French and English languages. Knowledge of German is a plus.- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.- Proficiency in MS Office with familiarity with hotel systems.- Knowledge of online booking platforms and basic understanding of digital marketing tools (social media, Google Ads, email marketing).- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Professional and well-presented with a results-oriented and time-sensitive approach.- Positive and customer-service oriented.- Flexible to work outside regular hours when required and to provide support to the Front Office when needed.HUMAN RESOURCES WCC:The WCC is an equal opportunity employer.
