IDT is creating trusted identities for IoT applications through Smart Components and Enabling Services. Role Overview As an Industrial Software Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by:
Developing and maintaining scalable HMI software
Integrating with databases and PLC systems
Leading UI enhancements to improve user experience
Collaborating cross‑functionally to deliver robust industrial software solutions
Managing technical tasks, planning activities, and tracking progress
Troubleshooting and resolving issues in automated systems
Required Experience and Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field
5+ years of hands‑on software development experience
Strong proficiency in C# and WPF
Skilled in HMI design, focusing on intuitive and efficient user interfaces
Proven expertise in developing, integrating, and maintaining software for automated machinery, including motion control, PLC communication, and real‑time data acquisition
Capable of delegating and taking initiatives
Capable of working autonomously, should be proactive, flexible, and precise
Bold and self‑confident to challenge the status quo as well as be challenged
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, CSS or other programming languages
Experience with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Serial, OPC UA
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and database systems
