Your main tasks
1. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to provide high-quality data for AI, BI, and analytics use cases
2. Design, train, and validate machine learning and deep learning models to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into workflows, ensuring alignment with business goals
4. Translate business needs into actionable insights through dashboards, visualizations, and presentations while keeping stakeholders aligned
5. Document solutions according to regulatory standards and share knowledge across the organization
6. Monitor, retrain, and maintain models based on feedback and evolving business needs
7. Drive adoption of data-driven processes and support stakeholders with best practices
8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI, data engineering, and analytics to enhance solution capabilities
9. Optimize cost and resource usage of AI solutions
10. Track and report business impact of deployed solutions using KPIs
11. Ensure data security, compliance, and ethical standards throughout the data lifecycle
Your profile
12. Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
13. 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying AI-based data products end-to-end
14. Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning methodology, AI/ML frameworks PyTorch, TensorFlow), and data engineering tools
15. Proficient in Python, R, SQL, and other relevant technologies
16. Solid scientific background in mathematics, statistics, probability, and AI
17. Experience with cloud platforms Azure) and cloud-based data lakes or warehouses Databricks, Dataiku)
18. Experience in regulated industries, ideally healthcare or MedTech, with understanding of compliance and data governance
19. Strong communicator and team player, translating complex technical concepts into business insights while embracing continuous learning
20. Full professional proficiency in German; fluent in English
