Your role
Position fully funded by Marie Skłodowska‑Curie European Training Network "SPACER". One doctoral candidate over 36 months. Work on physics‑based models of electrochemical double layers, parameter estimation using cyclic voltammetry and EPR spectroscopy.
Your profile
* Not yet possess a PhD (EU rules)
* Excellent master’s degree in computational science, physics, mathematics, chemical engineering, materials science or related discipline
* Experience in mathematical modelling and numerical methods for ODEs and PDEs
* Strong interest to work cross‑disciplinary, at electrochemistry‑mathematical modelling interface
* Knowledge of spectroscopy advantageous but not required
* Proficiency in at least one scientific computing language (C/C++, Matlab, Fortran, Python, Julia)
* Good communication skills, willingness to present at conferences, meetings, partners
* Very good English; German beneficial
* Self‑motivation, ability to achieve goals independently and contribute to team
* Complies with MSCA mobility rules: not resided or worked in recruiting country >12 months in 36 months before recruitment date
