What Youll Do
* Design develop and execute test plans and test cases for embedded IoT systems
* Collaborate with engineering teams to define quality standards and acceptance criteria
* Analyse system requirements and technical specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage
* Perform functional regression integration and system testing on embedded platforms
* Debug and troubleshoot hardware / software integration issues reporting defects with detailed documentation
* Set up and maintain test environments including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and simulation setups
* Drive continuous improvement of QA processes tools and methodologies for embedded / IoT products
* Mentor and guide junior QA engineers sharing best practices and technical expertise
* Participate in code reviews risk assessments and release planning to ensure product quality
Requirements
What Youll Bring
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related field
* Prior experience in QA / testing for embedded systems or IoT devices
* Strong knowledge of embedded systems microcontrollers and IoT architectures
* Proficiency in test automation for embedded platforms (e.g. Pytest)
* Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation and real device testing
* Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g. UART SPI I2C BLE LoRa MQTT)
* Solid understanding of software development and QA methodologies (Agile CI / CD)
* Experience with test management tools defect tracking and version control (e.g. Jira Git)
* Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
