Director of the Building Energy Competence Center (CCREn) / Director of the Competence Center for Building Renovation (KEGs) Activity rate / Work level: % Workplace: Valais The CCREn is the new cantonal umbrella organization dedicated to the energy efficiency of the Valais building stock. It coordinates, structures, and enhances existing efforts to accelerate the energy transition in a key first phase of its development. Following its recent establishment, CCREn is seeking a director to ensure the executive leadership of the Center and to establish it as a reference entity. You will manage the Center’s activities, facilitate the ecosystem of various stakeholders (companies, municipalities, financial institutions, academic circles) and develop coordinated solutions, training, and innovative actions. You will represent CCREn to institutional, economic, and public partners, and implement the cantonal mandate while respecting the functional autonomy of the Center. Profile:- Higher education (university or HES) in a field related to energy, sustainability, construction, or project management- Proven experience in leadership, multi-stakeholder coordination, or managing complex projects- In-depth knowledge of the energy challenges in Valais and the Swiss regulatory framework- Proficiency in French and German (minimum level B2 in both languages)Desired Profile:- Recognized leadership skills and neutral stance- Ability to unite and represent credibly- Rigor, political sensitivity, autonomy, and a systemic visionThe position is carried out in line with the values of CCREn: neutrality, independence, transparency, and public interest.
