Marketing and Corporate Relations Sales Coordinator
to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering a world-class experience during the annual ERS Congress.
About the Role
As the
Marketing and Corporate Relations Sales Coordinator,
you will serve as the primary liaison for
Industry Practical Workshops (Skills Labs), advertising, and sponsorships
during the ERS Congress. From initial discussions and allocation to onsite execution and crisis management, you will oversee the entire process to ensure seamless delivery.
The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and enthusiastic about fostering strong relationships with industry stakeholders and colleagues alike. You must be fluent in English and have some experience in sales.
You will preferably have proven experience in sales, both in regards to key account management and driving new business in an English speaking environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS
Skills Labs
End-to-end coordination
of all Industry Skills Labs at the ERS Congress.
Oversee planning, logistics, and execution — from allocation of session slots to real-time troubleshooting onsite.
Serve as the
primary contact for industry, supporting them throughout the preparation and delivery of their Skills Lab.
Liaise with all stakeholders involved, such as AV suppliers, Catering providers, Congress Venue, Security teams, and other logistical partners.
Ensure smooth communication between ERS, industry representatives, and service providers.
Liaise with all involved internal departments (Congress & Events, Scientific)
Attend 2 to 3 site visit per year
Sponsorships Advertising
Find & create Sponsorship and Advertising opportunities onsite & online.
Sales to Industry to meet with objectives (approx. 1 Million)
Contracting
Medica
Onsite Promoting the ERS congress & customer meeting
Onsite meeting with existing and potential customers
REQUIREMENTS
Swiss or Swiss work permit
Fluent english
2-3 years experience in corporate relations and/or sales
Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and negotiation skills
