The role will also support trade-sanctionedcountry management and acquisition-related projects. The selectedcandidate will contribute to compliance improvement initiatives andthe implementation of best businesspractices. This position is part of the transport and logistics compliance team, ensuring international shipments are fully aligned with global trade regulations and standards. EssentialDuties and ResponsibilitiesTo be successful, anindividual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily:Evaluate traderules/regulations (Integra key countries) in related jurisdictionsand ensure compliance with Import & Exportregulations.Tariff classifications & ECCNdetermination of all products imported orexported.Perform DPL / RPL screening for newcustomers or changes in existingcustomers.Assist the team withtrade-sanctioned country due diligence. Conduct independentresearch utilizing the internet, third-party tools, commercialdatabases, and internal systems to evaluate and dispositionsanction system alerts.Review Letters ofCredit in line with currentregulations.Monitor Global Trade Management(GTM) system for transactions on hold and take timelyaction.Collaborate with internal QA andRegulatory teams or external partners (e.g., Chamber of Commerce)to support customer needs.Stay updated onchanges in import/export regulations and related documentation orcertification requirements.Determine products’Country of Origin and Free Trade Agreementeligibility.Lead import/export transactionsand ensure compliance with U.S., EU, and foreign governmentrequirements.Implement and maintain tradecompliance programs, procedures, andpolicies.Support Trade Compliance Managerswith data collection and analysis for audits andinvestigations.Develop reports and analyticsto support ongoing compliancemonitoring.Perform quality review ofcompliance reports and analytics.Investigateand follow up on shipment delays related to documentation orcertificates.Perform other duties and/orprojects asassigned. DesiredMinimum QualificationsThe requirements listedbelow are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilityrequired for this position:A minimumof a bachelor’s degree is required. An equivalent combination ofeducation and experience may beconsidered.Export Certification or Customsbrokerage license preferred.Ability andwillingness to work in a matrix teamenvironment.Working knowledge of ERP systems,Oracle preferred.Experience with Global TradeManagement Software is a plus.Proficiency inglobal tariff classification and ECCNcodes.Knowledge of BIS, EAR, ITAR, OFAC,international export compliance regulations, and sanctioned partyscreening processes.Familiarity with EUDual-Use Regulation (EC) No. 428/2009, EU military/defensecontrols, and UK equivalent regulations is aplus.Experience in documenting andimplementing global trade policies andprocedures.Strong critical thinking,analytical, and problem-solvingskills.Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, with proficiency inEnglish.Experience in multinationalmanufacturing and distribution environments, preferably in themedical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechindustry.3–5 years of relevant experience intrade compliance.Ability to workindependently.Proficiency in databasemanagement and tools such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access,Power BI, and Oracle.Highly organized,detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changingpriorities.High degree of professionalism,diplomacy, discretion, and soundjudgment.Ability to build strong workingrelationships with internal and externalstakeholders.Willingness to traveloccasionally (up to 10%).
