Overall responsibility for the operation, installation and maintenance of the WWTP and the biogas plant
Technical and personnel management of the WWTP team totalling 3 employees
Responsibility for the laboratory area of the wastewater treatment plant
Ensuring the operational readiness as well as maintenance and servicing of all assigned systems
On-call duty to ensure smooth plant operation and readiness for assignments outside of regular working hours
Monitoring, neutralisation and control of waste water
Operating and maintaining the lorry wash facility and looking after the vehicle fleet
Organisation and implementation of environmental maintenance
Assisting with test runs and commissioning new systems
Supporting the mechanics if required
Ensuring a clear flow of information and close collaboration with superiors and relevant interfaces
What you bring with you
Completed training as a wastewater treatment plant operator or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in the operation of a wastewater treatment plant, ideally with a biogas plant
Management experience and enjoy working with a small team
Technical understanding (mechanical, electrical or process engineering is an advantage)
Independent, structured and solution-orientated way of working
High sense of responsibility and assertiveness
Ability to make pragmatic decisions appropriate to the situation
Strong safety and quality awareness
Driving licence Cat. B
