The Senior AQA Engineer will play a key role in shaping testing strategies, mentoring other AQA engineers, and driving quality across our mobile applications by leveraging manual and automated frameworks.br/  /ppbRole Summary /b /ppThe ideal candidate will have significant experience testing mobile applications at scale, ideally within the cycling, IoT, or connected device industry. They will demonstrate mastery of AQA best practices while bringing flexibility and judgment to adapt processes as needed. They will not only identify and troubleshoot issues, but also design scalable test solutions, contribute to architectural discussions, and advocate for continuous improvement across the engineering organization. /ppbHow You’ll Make a Difference /b /pliOwn the design and implementation of comprehensive mobile test strategies, frameworks, and practices. /liliLead QA efforts across multiple mobile projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and consistent test coverage. /liliReview mobile app requirements, architecture, and design to influence testability and product direction. /liliMentor and guide junior and mid-level QA engineers, sharing best practices and fostering skill development. /liliDesign, develop, and execute advanced automated and manual test cases for Android and iOS using bKatalon /b and bAppium /b. /liliPerform and lead functional, regression, integration, smoke, performance, and stress testing on devices and emulators. /liliCollaborate with developers, UX/UI, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to elevate product quality and rider experience. /liliProactively identify gaps in test coverage and introduce improvements to QA processes and tooling. /liliManage UAT with business users and ensure high-quality feedback cycles. /liliProvide clear and actionable reporting of test results, risks, and recommendations to leadership. /lipbWhat You'll Need to Win /b /pli8+ years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance and testing. /lili5+ years’ experience in bmobile application testing /b (iOS and Android). /liliProven track record of leading automation QA initiatives for large-scale, consumer-facing mobile applications. /liliHands-on experience with bKatalon Studio /b and bAppium /b for advanced test automation. /liliExpertise in mobile QA methodologies, testing tools, and test environment management. /liliExperience with Xcode, Android Studio, device/emulator-based testing, and connected hardware (Bluetooth, sensors, OTA updates). /liliStrong understanding of REST APIs, React-based mobile applications, and hardware/software integrations. /liliExperience setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into release processes (e.g., GitHub Actions). /liliExceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. /liliExperience designing and maintaining scalable test frameworks and reusable test assets. /liliExcellent communication skills with a track record of influencing product direction and technical decision-making. /liliExperience with Atlassian Confluence, JIRA, and agile methodologies. /lilibBonus experience: /b /liliLeading mobile performance, scalability, and security testing initiatives. /liliHands-on experience with additional mobile automation frameworks (Espresso, XCTest, etc.). /liliExperience in IoT or connected hardware product testing. /li
