Our new client is an expanding organisation in the financial services sector in Switzerland. Their mission is to advise and guide clients in all aspects of financial planning from simple tax optimisation to complex international pension transfers. A team of FINMA and ARIF registered advisers works remotely through an interactive client portal, supported by the Nyon‑based Operations team.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients primarily via MS Teams, with occasional telephone and face‑to‑face interactions to assess financial situations.
Introduce the company and its proposition to clients, explain business process flows, and obtain key information about current investments, savings, tax efficiency, real estate assets, and risk tolerance.
Develop financial plans focused on tax optimisation, real estate purchase goals, education savings, and retirement planning.
Prepare financial planning reports using in‑house templates, confirming the suitability of proposals and recommendations.
Liaise with clients and the company administration team to submit product applications and investment instructions in accordance with client wishes.
Monitor clients’ financial situations with regular reviews, recommending changes and proposing new plans as required.
Maintain up‑to‑date financial knowledge through tracking markets, economic conditions, and ongoing professional training.
Maintain the proprietary CRM database and ensure all client data is handled with care and respect throughout the planning process.

Minimum Candidate Requirements
FINMA and ARIF registered adviser.

Must study to pass local exams if not yet done.
Has worked abroad in financial services for three years.

Age 33–45 years.
Committed to a career and progression path in Switzerland.
Humble, learning‑oriented, and willing to start with a lower income initially.
Aware of the 2–3 year commitment before becoming a senior consultant.
Has worked abroad in financial services for five years.
Already living in Switzerland and has worked for a competitor for one year as a financial planner.
Has stable partner in Switzerland with a contributory job.
Already holds financial services qualifications.
Desired Attributes
Degree level or higher education qualification.
Financial planning qualifications highly desirable (IAF, AFA, CFP, CISI, PFS, EFA, STEP).
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, either in Switzerland or a European country with a developed financial planning profession.
Knowledge of the Swiss social security system and implications for foreign nationals.
Fluency in English; French and German desirable.
Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple client workflows.
High attention to detail and adherence to company procedures for data management.
Motivation to develop professionally and demonstrate accountability throughout the sales process.
IT literacy and ability to manage multiple software applications (Microsoft Office 365, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, automation plugins).
Conditions
Full‑time permanent position.
Remuneration varies with skills and experience; base salary of CHF 6,000 per month and OTE of CHF 84,000 (year 1), CHF 126,000 (year 2), CHF 154,000 (year 3).
Candidate must be a Swiss national or hold a Swiss residence permit (B or C), or an EU citizen who does not currently reside in Switzerland.
Optional Note
This position would typically suit experienced and qualified investment advisory candidates already living and working in Switzerland, with a minimum of 3 years experience in wealth management. It is not suitable for accounting, auditing, or financial management professionals and is a client‑facing, sales‑driven profession.
