Responsibilities:
* Define the architecture of new engine projects and stay abreast of emerging engine technologies and trends.
* Resolve complex technical challenges by coordinating design, simulation, and testing activities.
* Design and optimize high-complexity engine components with a focus on performance and reliability.
* Create 3D models of components and assemblies using CAD systems, and develop and revise 2D drawings with GD&T standards.
* Produce 2D and 3D visualizations to communicate technical content effectively, including preparing technical presentations.
* Report on specific technical topics to senior management, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment.
* Collaborate with component suppliers to define technical specifications and engage in joint development (co-design).
* Actively participate in FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) to identify and mitigate potential risks.
* Coordinate design resources, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and work cross-functionally with various departments within the project environment.
Profile:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in design engineering within the combustion engine sector.
* Fluent in English and French; proficiency in German is considered an asset.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with solid working knowledge of PTC Creo, ERP systems, and PLM Albatros.
