Position Overview
The FP&A manager is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. They will analyse financial data, provide insights, and collaborate with other departments to forecast financial results and identify opportunities for improvement. The FP&A manager will provide strategic guidance to drive growth and profitability, making a significant impact on the organisation.
The incoming candidate will provide effective and efficient financial monitoring, analysis and planning of business performance, as well as support, to business leaders across all the commercial channels (Retail, Wholesale, Ecommerce) at a global level, ensuring co-piloting of Regional Finance Directors on business performances analysis.
They will also oversee ad hoc management reporting and financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and coordination, and preparation of the Mid Term Plan.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure effective and efficient financial monitoring, analysis, and planning, and provide the necessary information to business leaders (at central and regional level)
Manage the financial planning processes (budget and forecasts) for EMEA & Americas regions and Wholesale; also co-pilot other regions when necessary
Full monitoring of EMEA, Americas and Wholesale Profit & Loss, partial monitoring of balance sheet and cash flow (stock and receivable)
Assist the business leaders in the development of the Group's strategic business plan and annual budget agenda, develop worldwide performance measures that support the Retail, Wholesale and Ecommerce strategic direction
Analysis and review of the business' financial performance, alerting the business leaders as well as proposing and initiating remedial and corrective actions where needed
Investments evaluation from both a financial and commercial standpoint (openings, refurbishment and relocation of retail, franchisee, and duty-free stores)
Support the Store Planning department in planning and monitoring network development projects (openings, refurbishments, and relocations), as well as costs evolution
Support the Retail and Wholesale leaders in the commercial aspects of the business
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
A professional accounting qualification is strongly preferred, with 10+ years of experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance
A track record of leading financial planning processes, ideally at a regional or global level
Experience in the fashion or luxury sector is highly desirable
Prior experience supervising or mentoring team members is preferred
Solid experience of financial modeling, performance analysis, and management reporting
