A highly skilled Digital Library Manager is sought after to lead the development and improvement of scientific literature collections, ensuring seamless access to relevant electronic sources for various science and innovation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and enhance scientific literature portfolios in a dynamic environment, reflecting actual needs of the scientific community.
* Maintain an overview of licensed content and user access, ensuring efficient use of digital resources.
* Foster knowledge sharing and gather feedback through active user engagement and community building.
* Provide comprehensive training to Science Research & Innovations (SR&I) communities on effective system usage and license management.
* Prioritize daily support for user inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Innovation & Complexity:
* Navigate rapidly changing environments and adapt to evolving needs of the scientific community.
* Establish and maintain long-term relationships with external electronic source providers, driving collaboration and resource optimization.

You Bring:
* A Bachelor's degree or higher, with at least 3 years of experience in library services or related knowledge management roles.
* PREFERRED: Knowledge management experience in Biotechnology, Chemical, or life sciences areas.
* Thorough understanding of the electronic resource lifecycle, with a commitment to staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
* Conceptual and practical knowledge of search platforms, standards, and technology to drive digital library setup.
