We are seeking an experienced marketing leader to develop and execute the EMEA strategy for herbicides targeting key spring crops, including corn, sunflower, potato, and sugar beet. You will work in close partnership with regional and in-country marketing and commercial teams to ensure strategic alignment with market needs and to deliver growth in profitability and market share.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Planning & Product Positioning
o Define and implement product strategies, value propositions, positioning, and pricing for herbicides in spring crops
o Monitor competitive, regulatory, and agronomic trends to identify emerging opportunities
* Go-to-Market Execution & Lifecycle Management
o Lead regional go-to-market plans and launches in partnership with local teams
o Manage product lifecycles to maximize commercial impact and long-term value
* Cross-functional Alignment
o Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and supply chain to align product development and commercial priorities
o Act as the regional expert for spring crop herbicides within the marketing function
* Growth Initiatives & Market Development
o Drive profitability and volume through strategic differentiation
o Identify unmet grower needs and lead initiatives to address them across diverse markets
* Marketing Enablement
o Design and adapt marketing tools and campaigns to support commercial success in EMEA
o Equip local teams with compelling messaging and sales materials tailored to market needs
Candidate Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Agronomy, Marketing, Agribusiness, or a related discipline
* At least 5 years of experience in crop protection or seed marketing
* Solid agronomic knowledge of spring crops such as corn, sunflower, potato, and sugar beet
* Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional projects in a matrix environment
* Fluent in English; proficiency in French, German, Spanish, or Italian is an asset
* Market-driven thinker with strong analytical and communication skills
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 20–30% across the EMEA region
