Sigma IT is seeking for its client, a leading global commodities trading company in Geneva, an experienced Desktop Support Engineer:
Job Description:
* Provide day-to-day desktop support for Geneva office and remote locations
* Install, configure and maintain workstations including Windows 11, M365 Office, trading applications and macOS
* Support market data applications: Trayport, Fidessa, Bloomberg, LSEG Workspace, ICE
* Manage new joiner preparation including account creation, desk setup, PC/laptop builds, applications and telephony
* Administer iPhone, computers, printers, scanners and other hardware equipment
* Deploy applications via SCCM, Intune and other MDM platforms
* Analyze incidents and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Design and build custom internal tooling for Help Desk teams
* Work on rotation shifts with on-call requirements beyond normal business hours
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years experience as Senior Desktop Support or similar position
* Strong experience supporting Microsoft environments: Windows OS, MS Office, M365
* Experience with EUC networks, patching and Wi-Fi management
* Administration skills in Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, GPO's, Exchange 2019, SCCM
* Telephony systems experience: MS Teams Voice, Cloud9 turret, AirWatch, Intune
* AV technologies support: Logitech, Teams Rooms
* Virtual environments knowledge: Citrix, VMWare VDI, AVD
* Trading applications support experience: Trayport, Reuters, Bloomberg, ICE
* Cloud technologies understanding: Azure, AWS
* macOS support capabilities
* Customer service orientation with white glove support approach
* PowerShell experience (bonus)
* Automation creation background (advantageous)
