3rd Shift Night Auditor – Full Time at Marcus Hotels & Resorts

Responsibilities
* Perform front desk duties including greeting guests, processing reservations, balancing credit card and cash transactions, and taking accurate messages.
* Use the property management system (SMS Host) and point of sale systems (SMS POS and SMS Touch).
* Verify that room, tax, and resort fees have been run on all occupied rooms; check and balance all food and beverage systems.
* Receive and resolve guest complaints within scope of authority.
* Complete shift checklist and monitor front desk areas for safety, security, and appearance.
* Work with housekeeping and maintenance to assess room status for cleanliness, maintenance, and repair work.
* Maintain accurate cash control, keeping the cash drawer at a minimum and ensuring all funds are accounted for and deposits made according to policy.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* 6+ months previous work experience in a guest service position, preferably in the hospitality industry.
* Independent worker with good judgment, problem solving, and decision‑making skills.
* Service oriented with strong oral and written communication skills.
* Basic to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Quick learner in a fast‑paced environment.
* Ability to guide, direct, and motivate others.
