Due to our high growth and commitment to technology, Medacta is seeking for a Web Developer with a range of skills to work across the full technology stack on some of the company's web portals for surgical cases management. The candidate will join a development team, helping them to implement the new version of the web portals, based on PHP Laravel Framework, integrated in a high efficiency automated 3D print production distributed system. The resource will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, writing clean and efficient code to design and develop robust, scalable and secure features.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the following activities:
design and develop web portal and web application based on PHP Laravel writing clean, performant and tested code;
optimize and integrate the existing code and architecture to ensure a correct connection to the production system and enhance applications performance, reliability and security;
collaborate with other developers, team leads and stakeholders.
The resource should also have the following skills:
Hard Skills
bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
knowledge of relational databases as MySQL;
knowledge of PHP and MVC framework (Preferable Laravel);
knowledge of Web Front-End technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3);
understanding of REST API;
understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns;
understanding of Agile development, DevOps and CI/CD;
knowledge of Git versioning, experience with Gitlab is a plus;
proficient in Italian and English language (spoken and written form).
