Senior Director, Regional Channel Partner Marketing
With a vision to "Build and sell intelligent cloud and intelligent edge solutions with partners, empowering people and organizations to achieve more," Global Channel Partner Sales (GCPS) is responsible for driving revenue outcomes with partners through innovative solutions—at scale. The Global GTM, Programs, & Operations team within GCPS brings together the Go-to-Market strategy, programs, and operations to accelerate growth and improve partner experience across all partner segments.
As the Senior Director, Regional Channel Partner Marketing, your team will develop joint end-to-end go-to-market plans, aligned with the global Partner Business Plans (PBP) and Strategic Partner Framework (SPF) investment agreements, to deliver against the strategy and drive execution with Solution Scale, Telco, and Distributor partners.
These plans will deliver yield for Microsoft Cloud consumption, renewal, and upsell revenue, and will need to be executed at both the global and regional levels. Your team will be experts on the Microsoft AI Cloud partner program and evangelize the benefits and offerings to drive maximum impact across all Microsoft Cloud Solution Areas.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND experience in sales, partner marketing, channel management, or business development within the technology industry, with extensive managed segment (corporate and/or enterprise) marketing or sales
* OR equivalent experience
* Extensive experience in a partner-facing role, dealing with a variety of audiences – customers, partners (SI, Advisory, Consulting, Services, ISV), sales, or marketing
* Extensive experience in operations, managing RoB processes across matrix and worldwide teams
* Proven experience managing high-performance teams across GEOs
Preferred:
* Business acumen, knowledge of Microsoft and Partner operating models, and experience working with Microsoft Partners and sales teams
* Track record of executing impactful go-to-market strategies and driving sales through partner engagement
* Critical thinking skills to challenge and improve existing business processes
* Ability to collaborate across functions and levels, from SME to leadership
* Proven relationship-building skills across organizational and geographical boundaries
* Deep understanding of Microsoft and Partner business models and strategies
* Familiarity with Microsoft sales enablement tools and processes
* Strategic thinking to prioritize issues and opportunities
Responsibilities
Team Leadership
* Lead a diverse, high-performance marketing team dedicated to strategic partner marketing with global accountability to:
* Create global GTM plans for channel partners
* Deliver ROI aligned with investment expectations
* Execute global marketing campaigns for regional leverage
* Activate SureStep ambassadors and reach indirect resellers for Distributor partners
* Foster talent development and retention
* Communicate effectively at all levels, demonstrating impact and influence
* Empower and hold team accountable through coaching and support
Business Leadership
* Understand the Microsoft partner ecosystem, business models, marketplaces, and competitive landscape to align strategies
* Manage resources and capacity, including MACIPP and Top MPL
* Ensure team learns and applies Solution Plays Win Formulas
* Leverage investments and enablement to maximize ROI
* Lead partner GTM execution and represent partner interests
* Engage with top partner executives to support their growth
* Maintain operational excellence and financial rigor
* Champion the partner experience and advocate for partners organization-wide
* Leverage marketing expertise to become a trusted advisor to partners
* Ensure content compliance with Microsoft standards
