Job description
Join our dynamic team as a key player in international cycling events, fulfilling the roles of a “on venue results” operator. Your responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, including the meticulous installation of our equipment (OVR and timing equipment), preparing it for the races and testing.
During pre-season preparation, you will test and pack the equipment for the upcoming season at the company. During sport competitions, you assist the technology and work in close collaboration with our sports managers and the sports federations. You will be tasked with configuring, operating, and monitoring our systems and dedicated software.
Once you have gained some experience as a Cycling operator, there is also the possibility of taking on responsibility as a Swiss Timing Team Leader at events in the future. You will also support and train the testing and operational team.
Profile
Ideal candidates for this role should possess either vocational training or a degree, preferably in fields such as IT, media, or event technology. An inherent passion for cycling sports is essential.
You thrive in a collaborative team environment, embracing the utilization of modern IT, network, and OVR/timekeeping technologies across diverse event venues located worldwide. Flexibility and a willingness to travel are paramount, particularly as the role entails working weekends at international events.
Maintaining composure and clarity of thought in high-pressure situations is second nature to you, enabling prompt and sound decision-making. A strong aptitude for learning, coupled with flexibility, underscores your readiness to adapt to evolving challenges.
Professional requirements
Ability to work effectively under stress
Flexibility and willingness to travel, including weekends,
Valid Class B driving license
Languages
Proficiency in both written and spoken English
