We are looking for a Senior Consultant that will act as an
IT Business Analyst
to contribute to the delivery of high-quality solutions within complex and fast-paced client environments across
Swiss Romandie
.
In this role, you will act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, translated into functional and technical specifications, and effectively delivered.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
* Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
* Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify processes, gaps, and improvement opportunities
* Support solution design in collaboration with IT and development teams
* Perform impact analysis and ensure traceability of requirements
* Prepare and execute test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
* Ensure alignment between business expectations and delivered solutions
* Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
* Support project managers in monitoring scope, risks, and deliverables
* Production support and Product Lifecycle
Required Qualifications
* University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst. Previous experience within the financial industries: Banking, Insurance are considered an advantage
* Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience required
* Experience writing clear and structured functional and technical specifications
* Good understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills
* Fluency in French and English (mandatory),
German and Italian are a plus
* Swiss residency or valid Swiss work permit required
* Availability to work on-site a minimum of 3 days per week
* Comfortable working in a consulting setting and adaptable to dynamic client environments
Required Skills
* Experience in IT system implementation or transformation projects
* Knowledge of process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, DMN, UML)
* Ability to work with databases (PL/SQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
* Experience with API design (Postman, Bruno, Swagger)
* Capacity to analyze Java/.Net application logs
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology
* AI Prompting experience
* Business Analysis certifications, functional an operational expertise are a plus
