The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, with good public transport connection (Tram 10) and free car parking.
*How you'll make an impact:**Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities in global projectsIdentify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery performance, and compliance standardsExecute project procurement tasks including RFQs, bid analysis, negotiations, and purchase order issuanceMonitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or contractual obligationsCollaborate closely with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure alignment with project requirementsSupport project planning by providing accurate cost, lead‑time, and procurement risk assessmentsMaintain up‑to‑date procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier recordsDrive cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processesEnsure compliance with internal procurement policies, ethical standards, and international trade regulations*Qualifications:**Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field3 - 5+ years of experience in project procurement or operational purchasing in a technical or engineering-driven environmentProven experience working in an international and multicultural settingStrong understanding of supply chain principles, contractual terms, and procurement best practicesExperience managing multiple suppliers and complex project timelinesProficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and MS Office toolsStrong negotiation, communication, and analytical skillsFl
