We are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth by acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and promoting our full logistics portfolio. This role involves pipeline development, key account management, and delivering profitable, sustainable business opportunities aligned with sales excellence standards.
These are your key tasks:
Proactively engage with new and existing customers to generate new business opportunities and promote the product portfolio
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and target list
Ensure Salesforce is consistently and accurately updated
Drive business growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships
Secure and grow revenue within assigned Key Accounts (KAM)
Lead the implementation of new business opportunities
Align activities with the Sales Excellence framework of Nippon Express Switzerland
Continuously work to enhance profitability across the assigned customer portfolio
Successful 2nd level education, desirably a diploma as “Speditionsfachmann/ - Fachfrau” or equivalent in logistics / transportation industry
Several years of sales or operational experience in the field of Transportation Logistics
Proven experience in customer service and/or Indoor Sales and/or Marketing
Fluent in English and German on level to lead complex negotiations
Strong on MS Office Tools
Strong work ethic and professionalism
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Commercial acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset
Persuasive, resilient, and goal-oriented
Able to perform under pressure and manage conflicts effectively
Self-motivated, reliable, and collaborative team player
