2. Collaboration with physicists, electronics and mechanical engineers to develop a complete system
3. Collaborating with product management, software engineers and other important stakeholders
4. Design of opto-mechanic system architecture in Siemens NX
5. Engage in technical negotiations with suppliers
6. Interactions with suppliers and participation in processes to access component and assembly’s manufacturability
7. Design and validation of prototypes to series production
8. Manage prototype- and product testing
9. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the R&D Team
This is you
10. University background in mechanical engineering or equivalent
11. A flair for number-crunching & theoretical aspects of mechanics / physics
12. Familiar with ISO GPS and 3D design in CAD system
13. Experience in opto-mechanics and sensorics is a plus
14. Entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive attitude and a hands-on mentality
15. Open-minded team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
16. You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team using English and German
