We are currently looking for a highly motivated Thermal Energy Storage Researcher Engineer to join our team in our new brand offices in Ecublens – Lausanne Area.
YOUR MISSION
* Design and development of new thermal energy management and storage systems for new applications in H.Glass products
* Development of thermal energy storage materials with improved specific capacitance and latent heat; designation of thermal energy management systems and exchange systems; designation of light management and photo-thermal system integrated with the thermal storage system
* Assess and screen materials and systems under development or in the market according to the requirements of H. Glass products
* Work with other R&D team members to develop prototypes
* Assess key metrics in pilot-level and mass-produced products
* Developing H.Glass intellectual property in areas of design and implementation through patent activity
YOUR PROFILE
* M.Phil. or Ph. D. in energy and power, chemical engineering, material science or similar majors
* Mastering thermal energy storage and management procedure and mechanisms
* Experience in designing thermal energy systems, thermal batteries or phase changing materials is preferred
* Knowledge of thermal flow design and thermal insulation designs are also preferred
* Experience in photo-thermal materials and systems, light managements are also preferred
* Ability to work independently and collaboration within the interdisciplinary team
* Proficient level in English
