Senior Financial Analyst – Global Operations

The Senior Financial Analyst – Global Operations, under general supervision, is responsible for conducting complex financial, accounting, and economic analyses, including detailed calculations related to internal and external expense reporting. This role provides a strong opportunity to learn various business functions, understand operating and control environments, contribute to key deliverables, and collaborate with experienced professionals across accounting, audit, and financial reporting.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of expense management, including accounting, reconciliations, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and customer support.
2. Analyze financial results, identify trends or anomalies, and provide value-added analysis supported by concise, insightful commentary on areas of focus.
3. Deliver monthly expense reports to stakeholders under the shared service model, ensuring data quality and enhancing reporting to meet customer needs.
4. Apply strong technical knowledge of expense management, relevant policies, and business context to validate and interpret financial information.
5. Exercise sound judgment when addressing unexpected issues, requests, and competing priorities, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
6. Play a key role in Global Operations Finance initiatives, including projects, process improvements, and best‑practice development in expense reporting.
7. Recommend and implement efficiencies in data management processes.
8. Escalate complex issues appropriately and seek guidance when needed.


Required Qualifications

9. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field, CPA is a plus
10. 5+ years of accounting or finance-related experience, including at least 2 years in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
11. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

12. Knowledge of PowerBI and Anaplan is a plus
13. Strong written and oral communication skills
14. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and excellent analytical skills
15. Self-starter and team player with a high level of initiative, strong work ethic and the ability to gather, synthesize, organize, and report information
16. Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a demanding and deadline-oriented environment
17. Recommending and implementing process improvements
18. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business processes
19. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with supervision
20. Customer-focused mindset and commitment to quality
21. Flexibility to work overtime or shifts as needed to meet business requirements
22. Interest in professional development and continuous learning
