We pioneer advanced solutions to meet the evolving demands of decentralized applications. /ph3The Role /h3pAs a Security Engineer at Anza, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the Solana ecosystem by designing and implementing robust security measures. You will work closely with core developers, ecosystem teams, and external auditors to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in distributed systems protocols and blockchain client software. Your expertise will help shape security best practices and advance the security posture of blockchain technology. /p pResponsibilities /pulliDesign and implement security and defense-in-depth controls to prevent and limit vulnerabilities. /liliConduct advanced security research on Solana and other Rust-based smart contract platforms. /liliWork closely with core contributors to perform in-depth internal security audits. /liliWork with external security audits in collaboration with top-tier third-party firms. /liliEffectively communicate security risks and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /liliUphold the highest standards of integrity, trust, and professionalism in all security practices. /li /ul pstrongRequirements /strong /ph3What You'll Bring /h3ulliEducational background in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience. /lili5+ years of software engineering experience related to complex distributed systems, either on the design, implementation or testing side /liliFamiliarity with modern infrastructure tools and testing approaches /liliExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail /liliEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders /liliPrevious auditing experience /liliExperience working with fuzzing tools in Rust  /liliRigorous testing standards. /liliDemonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions. /liliProficient in English, sufficient for success in a remote and asynchronous work environment /liliEffective communication skills: regularly achieves consensus with peers, and clear status updates. /liliAn inclination towards communication, inclusion, and visibility. /liliSelf-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills. /liliAbility to thrive in a fully remote work environment. /liliA positive and solution-oriented mindset. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3pFamiliarity with at least one or more Rust-based smart contract platforms, including Solana, Cosmwasm, NEAR (strong preference to pre-existing Solana experience). /ppstrongBenefits /strong /ph3Why Join Anza? /h3pWe offer a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation and problem-solving are at the heart of everything we do. Candidates should anticipate an annual base salary (not including incentive compensation or other benefits) of $180,000 USD to $300,000 USD. /p
