Role Overview:
The Account Manager serves as the primary business contact for key registrars in the EMEA region. The role involves liaising with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, representing client needs, and meeting Verisign's targets. It is crucial to coordinate with registrars to ensure they execute according to plan and to provide regular updates to the team.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage strategic client communications, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with client deliverables and revenue goals. Represent client interests to the team and maintain regular communication to build strong relationships and set proper expectations. Address client issues efficiently and inform the Account Director of any problems.
2. Achieve revenue and growth targets for accounts in the EMEA region and pursue opportunities for account expansion and new business development.
3. Report to the Account Director with regular updates on account activities, including weekly status reports. Oversee market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business or Marketing.
* At least 3 years of proven account management experience, with a focus on marketing.
Additional Information:
This role requires extensive travel within Europe and the U.S., with an expected travel commitment of 25% to 40% of the working year.
