PpFull-time /p h3Job Description /h3 pYour Responsibilities /p pAs Market Controller Switzerland (m/f/d), you will be responsible for statutory accounting and US GAAP accounting for Switzerland. In this key role, you will work closely with local and international Finance teams as well as other business functions to ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements. /p pYour responsibilities will include: /p ul liLeading the local controllership function, including the Principal Operating Company (POC), which comprises more than 30 country ledgers /li liProviding financial oversight and governance for the Swiss business /li liEnsuring accurate execution and reporting across: ul liUS GAAP accounting and financial close processes /li liAccruals and provisions /li liAccount reconciliations /li liFinancial closing and consolidation activities /li /ul /li liOverseeing Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including invoice and payment processing as well as travel and expense management /li liManaging intercompany transactions and related reconciliations /li liEnsuring compliance with all applicable global, regional, and local policies, procedures, and governance requirements /li liSupporting and driving standardization and simplification initiatives across the Finance organization /li liPreparing quarterly and year-end reporting packages in line with corporate requirements /li liMaintaining responsibility for the internal control framework and SOX documentation while ensuring an effective control environment /li liCollaborating closely with the Group Controller and global and regional Centers of Excellence /li liActing as the primary point of contact for internal audits, compliance reviews, SOX-related activities, and other audit engagements /li liEnsuring compliance with local statutory accounting requirements for Swiss legal entities /li liManaging statutory reporting, tax accounting, and audit processes /li liServing as the main point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors /li /ul pA key success factor in this role is the effective coordination of Finance activities between the local Swiss market requirements and the global and regional Finance organizations. /p h3Stakeholder Management /h3 pIn this role, you will work closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. /p h3Internal /h3 ul liLead and coordinate Shared Service Center teams across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), statutory accounting, and tax-related matters /li liPartner with FPA and Consolidation teams on close planning, accounting services, and consolidated reporting /li liCollaborate closely with the Group Controller on compliance and governance matters /li liWork with Revenue Assurance teams on revenue-related activities and controls /li liPartner with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources, Facilities Management, and Internal Audit /li /ul h3External /h3 ul liExternal auditors and consulting partners /li /ul pYour Profile /p ul liBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field /li liRecognized local or international accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent) /li liSeveral years of professional experience in Accounting, Financial Controlling, or Finance within an international organization /li liExperience in external audit or public accounting is considered an advantage /li liExperience working within a Principal Operating Company (POC) model is desirable /li liStrong knowledge of local statutory accounting requirements and audit processes, including local GAAP, statutory financial statements, tax calculations, and VAT reporting /li liStrong knowledge of US GAAP /li liKnowledge of Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements is an advantage /li liExperience working with SAP /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office applications /li liFluency in English and either German or French at a professional business level (minimum C1 level) is mandatory /li liStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and team‑oriented approach /li liStructured, solution‑oriented working style and strong leadership capabilities /li /ul h3Compensation /h3 pThe annual gross salary range for this position is between CHF 112,700 and CHF 170,500. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant professional experience, qualifications, skills, and internal compensation structures.
