The Financial Directorate (DFIN) is responsible for implementing the financial policy of the City of Geneva, coordinating cross-functional financial processes, and supporting the Administrative Council and the Municipal Administration in financial matters. To strengthen our Accounts and Budget team, we are looking for a
Management Controller at 100%
Your mission and responsibilities:
Manage the budget preparation process for the City of Geneva.
Monitor budget execution and support the annual closing.
Participate in the preparation of institutional financial documents (accounts and budget).
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and business software.
Develop management and decision-support tools for the Administrative Council and departments.
Advise and support internal and external partners in your areas of activity.
Your profile:
Hold a bachelor’s degree in business economics or an equivalent qualification in management control.
Have proven experience of 3 years in a similar position.
Demonstrate dynamism, organisation, autonomy, and a sense of anticipation.
Act with rigour, precision, and perseverance.
Show excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
Demonstrate interpersonal ease and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
Show real negotiation skills.
Have a good command of common office tools and an ERP system (SAP software is an asset).
