Job Description
An ERP Systems Administrator's duties encompass managing and maintaining the ERP system, ensuring its smooth operation, and supporting users, including tasks like user access management, system configuration, troubleshooting, and implementing patches and upgrades.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide strategic guidance for ERP systems hosted on-premises, in the cloud, or as SaaS services as required.
* Help identify technical problems and propose solutions in line with problem and resolution management processes.
* Monitor, analyze, and propose performance optimizations for the supported infrastructure and systems.
* Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation as needed.
* Assist the Service Owner and Team Lead in delivering UNICC Service Delivery Agreements (SDAs) to UNICC customers.
* Assist with the coordination, preparation, presentation, and implementation of proposals and projects linked to the SDAs.
* Be a go-to expert for troubleshooting ERP-related issues.
* Manage, prioritize, and take ownership of tasks assigned to the ERP team, including service requests, change requests, incidents, and project tasks.
* Monitor and ensure the completion of tasks within SLA targets.
Junior ERP Administrator
* Participate in ERP testing and validation activities.
* Support routine ERP administration tasks.
* Provide first-level user support and troubleshoot basic issues.
* Learn and develop expertise in ERP technologies.
* Assist in automating routine ERP tasks.
ERP Administrator
* Run disaster recovery and validation tests.
* Ensure availability and security of ERP systems.
* Implement, patch, and upgrade ERP systems in coordination with ERP service users.
* Implement and maintain ERP automation routines.
* Provide guidance to junior team members.
Senior ERP Administrator
* Lead ERP initiatives to improve all aspects of the ERP service.
* Design and implement ERP security policies.
* Plan, coordinate, and execute ERP implementations, patching, and upgrades.
* Coordinate ERP activities with junior team members.
* Provide guidance to junior team members.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive ERP administration experience, including upgrades and patching.
* Support operational deployment for ERP services hosted on-premises and in the cloud.
* Design, install, configure, and support ERP infrastructure components.
* Perform environment clones, migrations, and deployments to production environments.
* Assist in infrastructure refresh and migration to cloud projects.
* Perform capacity management and propose improvements to ERP services.
* Assist, plan, and conduct disaster recovery tests.
* Good scripting skills using Linux shell, Oracle SQL, or other automation tools.
* Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
* Customer-centric approach to delivery and problem-solving.
* Provide on-call support outside normal hours as required.
* Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira).
* Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
* Experience with Oracle Cloud products and IT automation tools like Ansible.
