Sales Consultant Orthopaedics / Sports Medicine – German‑speaking part of Switzerland: For our orthopaedics business, we are seeking a strong, customer‑focused and communicative personality to join us as a Sales Consultant Sports Medicine, starting immediately or by agreement. Objectives of the position
Comprehensive sales and product advice in the clinical field of orthopaedics / Sports Medicine
Systematic planning and organization of your own field service activities
Build long‑term customer relationships with physicians, operating room staff, buyers, and other decision‑makers
Strengthening existing product lines, introducing product innovations
Organisation and implementation of further training events (workshops, customer training) for medical and medical professionals
Responsible for achieving general and specific sales targets in terms of market penetration and sales
Developing and implementing sales and action plans in the assigned area of responsibility in cooperation with the sales manager
Representation of the business unit at congresses
Qualifications
At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally in the medical device sector
German and English language, fluent in business.
Previous experience of Medical Device Sales, Operating Room Sales, Operating Theatres, Orthopedic Devices, Sports Medicine or orthopedic Surgery is required
High flexibility, willingness, located and able to travel in the German region
Clear sales‑driven mindset with excellent execution skills and professional presence
High customer‑oriented personality and result orientation
Strong negotiation skills and confidence in closing deals
Determination, self‑motivation and willingness to perform
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Creativity and openness to change
Independent, integrity, dynamic, resilient and entrepreneurial personality
Sound MS Office skills
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
