Project Engineer Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the High-Luminosity LHC project, you will be responsible for the integration and preparation of Work Package 15 installations during Long Shutdown 3.
Responsibilities:
* Validate equipment integration and produce required documentation.
* Develop and update 3D models using CATIA V5.
* Prepare and upload integration data to the HL-LHC layout database.
* Contribute to installation schedule preparation and analyse the impact of changes on the baseline.
* Oversee new projects taken over by WP15 to ensure smooth preparation for de-installation and installation.
* Support de-installation and installation procedure preparation, contributing to Installation Readiness Reviews.
* Participate in WP15 team activities, including meetings, reporting, and SharePoint page updates.
Requirements:
* Candidates must be nationals of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
* Applicants should have up to two years of professional experience since graduation in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
* The highest educational qualification must be either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
* Candidates with prior CERN fellow or graduate contracts are not eligible.
* Applicants without a University degree are not eligible.
