Embedded Software Program Manager & Architect
What You Can Expect:
Lead Volpi's embedded software transformation by managing sub-projects from concept to production. Define software architecture, mentor engineers, ensure regulatory compliance (IEC 62304 & ISO 13485), and integrate software seamlessly with customer instruments. Be the technical bridge between R&D, clients, and contractors while building in-house expertise.
* Lead and mentor embedded software engineers and contractors.
* Define software architecture, interfaces, and CI/CD processes.
* Ensure high-quality delivery and regulatory compliance.
* Capture contractor knowledge and develop internal capability.
* Prepare release roadmaps and budgets aligned with customer needs.
* Represent Volpi's software expertise externally.
You Have:
* 10+ years hands-on experience in embedded software (MedTech or safety-critical systems).
* Strong hands-on experience with RTOS, C/C++, firmware, and system integration.
* Leadership experience managing teams and contractors.
* Knowledge of IEC 62304 & ISO 13485 compliance.
* Fluent in English and German is a must.
