Pharmaceutical Sales Manager

Location: Neuchâtel, Switzerland (Hybrid/Field-Based)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Opportunity to Drive Growth in the Swiss Pharmaceutical Market

We are a dynamic pharmaceutical company seeking a high-performing and strategic Sales Manager to champion our portfolio of medicinal products across Switzerland. This is a pivotal role for an experienced professional to lead our commercial success, forge influential relationships, and significantly impact patient access to our therapies.

Based in the Neuchâtel region with the flexibility of a hybrid and field-based role, you will have the autonomy to shape the market and drive our growth strategy in a competitive landscape.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to surpass revenue targets and expand our market share throughout Switzerland.
* Scientific Engagement & Promotion: Effectively promote our medicinal products to healthcare professionals, including physicians, specialists, and pharmacists, through impactful scientific dialogue and regular engagement.
* Relationship Management: Build and nurture robust, long-term partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), prescribers, and pharmacies, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador.
* Regulatory & Ethical Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of integrity by ensuring all promotional and sales activities are fully compliant with Swissmedic regulations, the HMG, and the industry's Code of Conduct.
* Market Intelligence: Proactively monitor competitor activities and evolving market trends to provide critical insights that will shape our pricing, product positioning, and promotional campaigns.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams and senior management to ensure seamless alignment of commercial and operational objectives.
* Performance & Forecasting: Deliver precise sales reporting and forecasting, contributing valuable insights to business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
* Supply Chain Support: As needed, support pharmacy-level logistics and product availability, ensuring an efficient supply chain in collaboration with wholesalers.

What You Bring to the Role:

* A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field.
* A minimum of 5 years of proven success in pharmaceutical sales within the Swiss market.
* Comprehensive understanding of Swissmedic regulations governing pharmaceutical promotion and ethical standards.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* A proactive, self-starting mentality with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to excel both independently and as part of a team.
* Fluency in German (C1), French (C1), and English (C1) is essential for success in this role.
* Willingness to travel extensively throughout Switzerland.

A Plus in Your Profile:

* Possession of a Medical Representative Certificate ("Pharmaberater / Délégué médical").
* Experience in launching new medicinal products or working within the generics sector in Switzerland.
